MSc Pharm · Brand Manager Fertility & ENDO · Merck
Pharmaceutical brand strategist with 5+ years across IVF portfolios and reproductive health — bridging clinical science with patient-centred innovation.
About
I’m Nermina — a licensed pharmacist turned brand strategist, currently leading the Fertility & ENDO franchise at Merck in Sarajevo. My career spans the full pharmaceutical spectrum: from dispensing prescriptions and building HCP relationships on the ground, to architecting product strategy and driving market launches.
My core focus is IVF and ART — a space where I believe deeply that how a patient experiences their fertility journey matters as much as the clinical outcome.
Experience
Lead market access, forecasting, seeding, and full-market launch activities for the ENDO franchise. Work closely with regional cross-functional teams across Medical, Regulatory, and Market Access.
Led portfolio and product strategy for fertility treatments, integrating scientific and commercial insights. Collaborated closely with regional teams to align strategy and assess market potential.
Supported new product planning through market research, trend analysis, and patient insights. Contributed to launch activities with forecasting and monitored portfolio performance.
Built strong HCP relationships and identified growth opportunities through continuous market and competitor analysis.
Led the launch of the first OTC emergency contraceptive in the market, aligning regulatory, commercial, and patient education strategies.
Dispensed prescription medications ensuring safe and compliant use, provided patient guidance, and collaborated with healthcare partners.
Prepared and archived documentation, developed advertising materials, and maintained structured HCP and KOL databases.
Beyond Work
Conference badges from international IVF summits — worn as reminders that in reproductive medicine, learning never stops.
Passionate hiker, traveler, foodie, and MPharm enthusiast — I’m always looking for ways to make life a little easier (and maybe even a bit brighter) for patients navigating different therapies. Somewhere along the way, I discovered design in pharmacy, and my pharmaceutical brain absolutely loved it. What started as a creative side project for pharmaceutical content turned into something I genuinely enjoy.
Projects
Patient Education · Non-Profit · Personal Project
IVF is often discussed in a highly clinical way, while the emotional reality of people going through fertility treatment is rarely acknowledged. IVF 360° is a personal, non-profit digital project created to make conversations around IVF more open, understandable, and compassionate.
Designed as a virtual exhibition, it offers a safe, neutral space where people can explore IVF at their own pace — without pressure, judgment, or medical jargon. Human-first, not system-first.
Digital Health · UX/UI Concept · Merck
Self-administering fertility medications during an IVF cycle is one of the most stressful parts of treatment. Injection schedules, dosage changes, and timing windows leave patients vulnerable to errors — at the worst possible moment.
This app concept was developed to guide patients step-by-step through their stimulation protocol, reducing complexity and minimising mistakes. Designed in Figma with a focus on clarity, calm, and clinical accuracy.
